In his role as Vice Chancellor, Dr. Jason L. Meriwether is responsible for the Student Services Division. He believes that success in student affairs and enrollment management lies in the ability to adapt to new trends in technology and digital engagement, while staying committed to advocacy for learning through collaboration with faculty and academic leaders. Dr. Meriwether is a contributing author of What Happens on Campus Stays on YouTube, published in 2015. He was named to the Southern Indiana Business Source 20 under 40 Class of 2016, elected as one of Louisville Business First’s Top Forty under 40 and Business First’s 20 People to Know in Education and Workforce Development, received the Outstanding Kentuckian award, and was commissioned to the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. Dr. Meriwether was elected to and served various roles for the American College Personnel Association (ACPA) Governing Board from 2014 to 2016 and is a current and active member of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA). His current place of employment, Indiana University Southeast, was named one of the “Most Promising Places to Work in Student Affairs” by Diverse Issues in Higher Education in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
In his new role, effective October 7, Mark will provide high-level, analytically-based, and data-driven advice to advance strategy development and operational efficiency at all levels, and will lead and oversee the finance, facilities, human resources, public safety, and information technology divisions of the Law School. Before accepting his position at Brooklyn Law, Hampton had a similar role at Washington College in Chestertown, MD. Hampton has also served as Vice President for Enrollment and Enterprise Analytics at the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT), where he developed tools for data-driven decision making and led the enrollment management, planning, assessment, accreditation, and institutional research activities of the Institute, and as Assistant Vice President for Budget and Financial Planning at the University of Virginia, where he directed the development and implementation of its Academic Division’s operating and capital budgets, and helped lead efforts to develop a new activity-based internal financial model.
Mark McCallister is Associate Director of the Office of Academic Technology at the University of Florida. Areas under his supervision include classroom technology support, video & collaboration services, A/V installation services, learning space design, computer labs & classrooms, optical mark recognition scanning and scoring, support of workstation hardware and software, and software application & desktop virtualization. He served as President of CCUMC: Leadership in Media & Academic Technology (http://www.ccumc.org) in 2010-2011, and in other roles on CCUMC’s Board of Directors from 2008-2012. Mark has presented on various topics at numerous CCUMC conferences, as well as ACM SIGUCCS, EduComm, the 2011 Standing Conference for Heads of Media Services conference in Newcastle, United Kingdom, and was an invited keynote speaker at the 2012 Learning Space Design Summit in Sydney, Australia. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration, and is currently working toward a Ph.D. in Educational Technology.
As dean, Dr. Crawley is charged with sustaining the welfare of the college by supporting academic programming, student support, faculty and staff supervision and development, personnel evaluation, college-based research/grant initiatives, community engagement, accreditation, strategic planning and assessment, alumni relations, and college advancement. Dr. Crawley has held administrative roles and consulting positions at both public and private universities, and his experience includes conducting program market cost and demand analysis, developing operational efficiencies, and onboarding various budgeting models (centralized, RCM and hybrids) to serve organizational units embedded within larger institutions (e.g., colleges within universities). Such work requires an understanding of issues related to developing budgetary cost-centers, and an appreciation for how such operations will impact the larger organization. As a result of these efforts—in combination with strategic enrollment, collaborative grantsmanship, contracted services, and fundraising the organizations—he has successfully advanced various entrepreneurial and community-oriented initiatives while simultaneously generating significant annual funding for the organizations he has lead.
Ms. Kopecky, previously held the position of Vice President for Academic Operations and Finance at California State University Fullerton. There she served as the Academic Affairs division manager for fiscal and facility resources for 150 departments, serving more than 40,000 students at CSUF. With 25 years of education management experience (including strategic initiatives, planning and budgeting, analysis, academic operations, procurement, agreement oversight, facility planning, improvements and use, information security, and pay processing), she began her career with the Corporate Credit Union League of NY, served as Vice President/Director of Marketing for New England Savings Bank of CT, and then held the position of Director of Academic Operations and Summer Session for Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). She earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and communications from Bryant College and an M.B.A. from WPI. Throughout her career, Lisa has successfully streamlined operations and access to financial information through design and implementation of workflow and online reporting tools; orchestrated the largest renovation and relocation project in CSUF history with more than 750 offices and 78,000 square feet involved; and planned for and provided direction to hundreds of classroom and facilities improvement projects, of varying size and complexity.
In her current position, Elizabeth Keppel is responsible for managing direct marketing and stewardship projects for academic units, including integrated digital projects and special campaigns. Prior to joining the UF staff in July 2015, she worked as an Assistant Director in the Office of Lifetime Philanthropic Engagement and Annual Giving at The College of William & Mary in Virginia. Elizabeth has a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from William & Mary.

She holds a doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin in Higher Education Administration and is a certified coach through the Center for Executive Coaching. Today, Karen’s work revolves around advising and consulting with higher education leaders with stints in serving as an interim executive leader herself. As an advisor, Karen has been a leadership coach to over 60 leaders since 2018. As a consultant, she has worked with boards, system heads and campus CEOS on a variety of leadership advancing topics.
