Michael Post

As the vice president of enrollment management, Michael Post is responsible for providing executive leadership and organization to the division of enrollment management, and oversees instrumental campus departments including the offices of admissions and financial aid. He “returned home” to the Mount in 2005 as the director for residence life. He has progressively moved up within the university, holding the positions of dean of students and dean of admissions. Prior to joining the Mount, Post served as associate director for residence life as well as the assistant director for residential facilities at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Prior to that, he began his higher education career as a hall director at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. Post is an active participant in organizations such as The College Board, the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO), and the American College Personnel Association (ACPA).

Brad Bohlander

Brad Bohlander serves as the top communications official for NC State University. He oversees NC State’s brand identity and central communications operations including public and media relations, crisis communications and issues management, marketing, web and digital communications, social media, development communications, internal and constituent communications, university events and design. Brad serves as the official university spokesperson and sits on the Chancellor’s Cabinet as NC State’s lead communications strategist. Utilizing solid research and forward-thinking, goal-oriented strategies, Brad and his team have driven significant positive change in campus-wide communications culture and led the university to new levels of collaboration, visual and message consistency and communications success. Before joining the Wolfpack, Brad served as Executive Director of Public Relations at Colorado State University and previously as Associate Director for University Relations at the University of Colorado System.

Sherrie Weldon

Weldon is responsible for building the Lynn brand. As a member of the university cabinet, she provides strategic direction and oversight for the university’s marketing and communications. Her career has spanned more than 20 years of corporate communications and marketing agency roles in New York, London, and San Francisco. She has worked for leading brands including Sony, Philips, HP, Xerox, and Florida State University. Since joining Lynn University in 2013, Weldon has aligned marketing priorities with the university’s strategic plan and helped incorporate the Lynn brand into the campus culture. Her contributions include university-wide brand guidelines, a new athletics brand for Lynn’s national champion Fighting Knights, and international recognition for the university’s innovative iPad-powered learning program. Weldon and her team were finalists for the 2018 AMA Higher Ed Marketing Team of the Year. They were also awarded Consumer Marketing Campaign of the Year for Lynn University’s “College Reimagined” campaign at the 12th annual Stevie® Awards for Women in Business. The campaign also received the Gold Educational Advertising Award.

Christine Cruzvergara

Christine leads an office of over twenty professionals in a centralized career center serving approximately 34,000 students. She has had the opportunity to lead this large and diverse staff to re-envision career education achieving institutional, regional, and national recognition. She has a reputation of being a creative problem-solver and enjoys the challenge of leading a team to embrace and drive change. She previously worked in career services at Georgetown University and in new student orientation and student activities at The George Washington University prior to Mason. She completed her master’s degree in college student personnel from University of Maryland, College Park. Christine currently serves on the conference committee for the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). She recently concluded her service as the co-chair for the NACE career readiness strategic initiative committee and chair for the American College Personnel Association (ACPA) commission for career services after completing a three-year term on the directorate board. Jeremy Podany

Jeremy serves as the Executive Director of Career and Corporate Services, overseeing The Career Center and Ascend at Colorado State University. He provides strategic direction to all facets of student career education, employer connections, and corporate education and services. Jeremy is also the co-inventor of two technologies started at Colorado State that are now being used at multiple universities around the nation: The Fairs App and Career Tools. Prior to coming to Colorado State in 2012, Jeremy spent 11 years in Career Services at Indiana University where he was The Director of Career Services at the School of Informatics and Computing for 6 of those years. Jeremy has spent time with nearly 1000 companies, has trained hundreds of organizations, leaders, and students and is passionate about building partnerships with industry. Jeremy received his Bachelors degree in Education from Western Michigan University, and his Masters in Higher Education Administration from Indiana University. Outside of work, he enjoys walking and laughing with his wife and four children, is an avid college basketball fan, and loves trying new restaurants.

Jen Brennan Carfagno

Jen has been a member of the alumni relations team at her alma mater, Gettysburg College, since 2006 and became the associate director in 2011. Her primary focus is on reunion efforts and affinity programming. In Jen’s previous role, she helped launch ‘Burgians of the Last Decade (BOLD) Gettysburg’s young alumni program and worked with the College’s Garthwait Leadership Center to create the Young Alumni Leadership Program. Jen has over ten years or experience in higher education, previously working at Boston University’s Sargent College for Health and Rehabilitation Sciences before returning to Gettysburg College.

Melisa Parkerson

Melisa Parkerson has served as the director of student programs for the Oklahoma State University Alumni Association for the past eight years. She has been working in alumni relations and student programming for more than 11 years having previously served as assistant director of annual giving and alumni relations at Oklahoma City University. One of Melisa’s areas of focus is advising students who plan and present OSU’s Homecoming celebration, which welcomes more than 80,000 alumni and friends to its nationally recognized Walkaround event. She also oversees OSU’s Student Alumni Association, the OSU Class Ring, the Tradition Keepers Program, Senior Awards, and the Legacy Program for children and grandchildren of alumni. Melisa was recognized as a Golden Torch Award recipient in 2014 by OSU Mortar Board for her work as a student adviser. She graduated from OSU with a bachelor’s degree in zoology.

Jacquie Temple

Jacquie oversees alumni giving with special emphasis on reunion giving. She, along with her assistant directors, manages 10+ reunion classes per cycle and collaborates with gift officers regarding overall dollar and participation goals. Recently, she co-chaired a Gettysburg College Reunion Giving Task Force. The group was tasked with reviewing former recommendations, developing recommendations for a donor-centric approach for advancing reunion goals, suggesting methods to build collaboration with Development colleagues, and aligning reunion messaging with the priorities of Gettysburg Great: The Campaign for Our College. Prior to working in higher education, Jacquie was a third grade teacher in the Gettysburg Area School District. Jacquie received her bachelor’s degree in business management from The Pennsylvania State University and her elementary education degree certification from Wilson College.

Michael C. Kelly, Ph.D., PMP

Mike provides leadership in governing the University of South Carolina’s data and information assets, ensuring the availability and accuracy of data for making decisions that advance the strategic priorities of the university’s eight campuses and Palmetto College. He works with senior leaders and functional managers to develop a sustainable data governance framework comprised of data stewardship, data standards, data quality & integrity, and business intelligence. Mike also leads USC’s teaching and learning technologies for the Division of IT. Prior to becoming USC’s first CDO in January 2014, Mike directed technology operations in the university’s undergraduate admissions office and served as a project manager for USC’s information technology division, leading initiatives in student affairs and academic affairs. He began his career in TRiO programs, using information technology to prepare low income, potential first-generation college students for academic success. He holds a PhD in Higher Education Administration and an MEd in Student Personnel Services. He enjoys speaking engagements and does individual consulting with institutions interested in data governance and the CDO role, in particular.

Chris Frederick

Chris is the Manager of the Business Intelligence team for the University of Notre Dame. He also teaches undergraduate and graduate data visualization courses for the University’s Mendoza College of Business. Chris understands that a strong focus on governance can lead to a sharp increase in the adoption of analytics on campus. As the program director for the University’s Data Driven Decision Making effort, he focuses on balancing the need to deliver data quickly with the need keep everyone on the same page, ensure consistent data definitions, monitor data quality, and manage data access.
