Dev Talvadkar

Mr. Talvadkar is involved in the transaction, execution, and quantitative structuring of both tax-exempt and taxable debt financings for independent schools, colleges and universities, hospitals, biomedical research institutes, and other nonprofit entities. He has executed numerous public market and bank financing structures and is involved in both general obligation and revenue bond financings. Mr. Talvadkar has been a presenter at a range of industry conferences, including the National Business Officers Association symposium, National Association of Independent Schools New England Business Officer conference, Mid-South Independent School Business Officers annual meeting, The Association of Boarding Schools annual meeting, and National Business Officers Association summer institute.

Cody Noghera

As a leader of corporate affiliates program, Cody has spent the last eight years building relationships with corporations that provide access to engineering technology research, human capital, and collaboration of subject matter experts, executives, and engineering leaders. The program has nearly seventy corporate members, ranging from university relations and recruiting to high-level executives who engage with the school. Cody began his career in technical recruiting at Kelly Engineering in San Diego. He has been a member of the Network of Academic Corporate Relations Officers (NACRO) since 2010, serving in a variety of volunteer roles and conference sessions; he is currently a member of the marketing and benchmarking committees.

Barbara Blacklock

Barbara Blacklock holds a master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling from Michigan State University and is licensed by the state of Minnesota, as an independent social worker (LISW). She has worked in disability services for over thirty years and has presented locally, nationally, and internationally on disability issues. In addition to her role as an access consultant for students with disabilities enrolled in Academic Health Center programs, for the past eleven years Barbara has been the co-chair of the University of Minnesota provost’s committee on student mental health and coordinated the development of the website www.mentalhealth.umn.edu. Barbara is the chair of the Association on Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD) special interest group (SIG) on students with mental health disabilities and was awarded the AHEAD 2001 Professional Recognition Award. In 2014 she received the University of Minnesota President’s Award for Outstanding Service.

Shannon Glasgow, MS, LMHC

Shannon is a licensed mental health counselor for New York State. Shannon began her career in the community college setting in 2010 at Genesee Community College. She had the opportunity to work as part of a collaborative and integrated team to increase mental health awareness on campus, assist with conduct process and Title XI. Shannon transitioned to Monroe Community College in 2014 and continues her counseling services, outreach, and trainings. Shannon is a certified mental health first aid Instructor and is passionate about spreading awareness and reducing stigma around issues of mental health. Shannon received her BA in psychology and sociology from SUNY Geneseo and her MS in mental health counseling from St. John Fisher College.

Brooks Doherty

Brooks Doherty is Rasmussen College’s Dean of Business and General Education. He is completing a doctorate in Education at St. Mary’s University, earned an MA in literature from University College London, and graduated from the University of Minnesota with degrees in Political Science and English. Before becoming a dean at Rasmussen College in 2008, Doherty taught writing courses to students of varying disciplines. He has spoken to groups around the country on the topics of developmental and higher education, workforce preparedness, and Irish literature.

Greg Gotthardt

Greg Gotthardt leads Alvarez & Marsal’s West Coast real estate practice. With more than thirty years of real estate experience, Mr. Gotthardt has broad experience with owners, users, and capital providers involving asset and transaction strategies, workouts and restructurings, acquisitions and dispositions, investment due diligence, development planning, underwriting, and valuation issues. Since 1996, Mr. Gotthardt has performed and overseen numerous P3 initiatives and transactions for a wide variety of public sector clients, including colleges and universities. He has advised on P3 transactions for a variety of project types including office, retail, housing, renewable energy, mixed-use, and special-use facilities. Mr Gotthardt serves as a board member for the University of Southern California’s Lusk Center for Real Estate. He is a full member of the Urban Land Institute, and he holds a variety of real estate professional designations and certifications including: designated member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI); fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS); member of Counselors of Real Estate (CRE); and certified project management professional (PMP) of the Project Management Institute.

James R. Tucker

With over thirty-eight years’ experience in facilities, real estate, and development in higher education, James R. Tucker has overseen a total of nearly $2 billion in construction and development at the University of Cincinnati and Drexel University in Philadelphia, including third-party development deals for student housing, retail, dining, and hospitality valued at over $600 million in assets and ground rents for Drexel. He has previously served as a consultant for U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Procter & Gamble and the city of Cincinnati’s Facilities Task Force, among others. His areas of expertise include: third-party/public-private development partnerships and negotiations, strategic acquisitions, facilities planning and management. Tucker received the Distinguished Business Officer Award from the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO) in 2012 and the Ohio Governor’s Award for Excellence (Ohio Malcolm Baldrige Award) in 2003. He was also named Energy Executive of the Year (1999) by the Association of Energy Engineers. Percy A. Morehouse, Jr. Ph.D.

Dr. Morehouse became director of equal opportunity and assistant to the president in August 1986. He is a nationally recognized consultant in the development of affirmative action and diversity plans; conducting diversity audits for higher, secondary, and elementary education; supervision and staff development needs assessments and training; conducting and reporting on complex investigations; conducting comprehensive organizational reviews and assessments of equal opportunity compliance; mediation and conflict resolution skills; grant writing; educational research (school climate studies for post-secondary, secondary, and elementary levels); and conducting Title II and Title IX sexual and racial harassment assessments for higher, secondary, and elementary educational institutions.

Colette B. Williams

Colette has served as the project manager for the University of Memphis Administrative Process Improvement initiatives for the past five years. She has an extensive IT background and has held several leadership positions during her tenure with the university. With her leadership and strong organizational skills, she has facilitated and successfully led over forty process improvement initiatives for the University of Memphis. She has worked with more than 270 staff and faculty members across campus to streamline and improve processes across campus. She was the recipient of the 2011 ITD Outstanding Pro Award for recognition as an outstanding professional. Colette serves on the board of directors for the CoHEsion Central organization and is an active member of the NCCI: Higher Education’s Network for Change Leadership group. Colette has s a BS in Computer Sciences from the Lambuth University (2000).
