Effective facilitation goes far beyond following a script. It’s about understanding why a session is designed the way it is and bringing it to life with confidence. In this workshop, you’ll learn what facilitation is (and isn’t), how to prepare yourself and the participants, and how to create experiential learning moments that make content memorable and sticky. We’ll explore strategies for engaging every participant, managing energy and group dynamics, and adapting in real time when things don’t go as expected. You’ll also practice techniques for establishing presence, building trust, and creating a safe space where participants feel comfortable leaning into discussion. By the end, you’ll be equipped to deliver leadership development sessions that are both impactful and deeply engaging using Academic Impressions’ resources as your foundation and partner.
