Jeff has close to a decade of experience leading and managing all areas related to law school advancement. He is responsible for planning and executing the programs which develop and support the School of Law’s annual giving, major gifts, planned gifts, board management, and capital campaign programs. Jeff has a keen understanding of the psychology of fundraising with lawyers as well as how changes in the legal industry have affected not only legal education, but also law school advancement. He also has extensive experience managing advancement relationships with deans and vice presidents. Jeff is currently a candidate for a PhD in Leadership Studies at Gonzaga and has been able to utilize his understanding of leadership as he has built a successful advancement shop, even during difficult times for law school advancement. He also serves as president of the Gonzaga Staff Assembly, which has assisted him in understanding how a university operates and, specifically, how a law school fits into the greater picture.
Ms. Dilley brings experience in student-housing operations with a diverse academic background including the design, implementation and management of a new division at the nation’s largest accredited private art school. Ms. Dilley works as the bridge between department heads, faculty and students through open communication and a partnership strategy to ensure needs are met. She is able to leverage her student housing expertise to lead, direct and supervise on-going student-housing operations as well as create policies and procedures that improve the overall residential experience. She currently oversees all campus relations and operations of the 65-year, $550 million P3 across nine of the University System of Georgia campuses where Corvias will construct and manage 3,753 new beds, as well as 6,195 existing beds, totaling over three million square feet.
As General Counsel of Corvias Group, Bill is known for his insatiable appetite for knowledge and keen focus on providing legal services and support to help our businesses grow and improve. Bill joined Corvias in 2001 and leads the company’s in-house and outside teams responsible for legal oversight of business strategy, transactions, operations and litigation. Overall, Bill has more than 20 years of experience in the field working with publicly traded and private companies. One thing Bill loves most about his role is helping others make business decisions that contribute to the success of Corvias and its institutional partners. He’s also a big fan of embracing and promoting superior collaboration. Bill is a member of the Rhode Island and Massachusetts Bar Associations and the Association of Corporate Counsel. In 2015, he was honored as an In-House Leader in the Law by New England In-House and Lawyers Weekly (Rhode Island and Massachusetts). Brock has worked in higher education for 11 years, holding various roles within Enrollment Management and Institutional Research. His work at Bentley centers on enabling data-driven strategies to support financial aid, admissions, and marketing initiatives through the use of various analytical methods. In addition, Brock is responsible for deploying new technology, and is currently working on deploying a new CRM system across the division.
Tim Switalski is the director of leadership development at Buffalo State College and the Founder and president of Darwin Associates. He is a master facilitator, executive coach, creative consultant and learning specialist, with a specific focus in the area of creativity and innovation. He has worked with a broad variety of organizations throughout North America, Central America, South America, and Europe in corporate, government and non-profit sectors. He has developed particular experience working with executive teams in the dynamic fields of energy and health care focusing on leading and supporting change. Tim holds a Master of Science degree in Creativity and Innovation from the International Center for Studies in Creativity at SUNY Buffalo State, where he also holds the position of adjunct faculty member and guest lecturer. He is a founding member of CREA Conference where he currently serves as program coordinator.
Jennifer’s practice involves representing education clients on a wide range of issues, including matters related to student rights, labor and employment law, policy development, and litigation. She has extensive experience in representing public school districts and higher education institutions in investigations and litigation. Jennifer has litigation and trial experience before state and federal courts, and numerous administrative agencies. Jennifer is a member of the Illinois Council of School Attorneys and the National School Board Association Council of School Attorneys (NSBA). Jennifer has been selected to present at the 2016 School Law Seminar for the Council of School Attorneys, National School Board Association on “A Legal Guide to Serving LGBT Students.” She presented at the 2015 NSBA Annual Conference on “Sexual Violence and Schools: Navigating Title IX in 2015” and at the 2013 NSBA Annual Conference on “When is Enough Enough? Mark Greenfield is a highly regarded, influential member of the higher education web community. He is an experienced consultant and an award-winning speaker who is known for his thoughtful vision of the future of the web and technology on college campuses. He is very active in the web community serving on numerous boards and committees. Mark has worked at the University at Buffalo (UB) for twenty-eight years. He has served in his current position since 2001. From 1997 – 2001, he was the web development manager for Computing and Information Technology and the CIO’s Office. He began his career at UB as a supervisor for Instructional Technology Services where he played a significant role in integrating technology into the classroom. Mark has also served as a visiting instructor in UB’s former School of Informatics. His research interests include emerging technologies, social media, the mobile web, the millennial generation and their use of technology, and the impact of globalization and technology on the academy.
Bob leads Gray and the development of Gray’s education industry software and services. He works with Gray’s education clients, consulting with Presidents, CAOs, CFOs, and CMOs on program assessment, institutional strategy, pricing, and location selection. Since founding Gray Associates, Bob has worked with institutions across all sectors of higher education, including the University of Cincinnati, Northcentral University, Baker College, Bay Path University, Massachusetts Bay Community College, the University of Maryland, and Universal Technical Institute, to develop institutional and programmatic growth strategies, identify new markets, and model program and course economics. His energy, vision, transformational leadership, and engaging managerial style set the bar for exceptional fundraising and operational effectiveness, helping to reframe Drexel University and fuel its ascent among the nation’s top private research universities. His most recent campaign exceeded its $400 million goal by more than $55 million and concluded seven months early.
