Prior to arriving in her current role, she served as Senior Director of Annual Giving and Student Life Programs, and as Advisor of the Student Foundation for the Kansas State Foundation for twelve years. She focused on further developing annual fundraising campaigns, including alumni, faculty and staff, parents, corporations, and students. She also has experience as a major gift officer for student life and lead advisor for the K-State Student Foundation.
Traci oversees and manages first-year transition programs including new student orientation, parent/family orientations, and campus welcome events. Traci received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in psychology and ethnic studies in 1998 and her Master of Education degree in institutional leadership and policy in 2003 from the University of California, Riverside. Prior to her role at Cal Poly Pomona, Traci was the Assistant Director of Student Life at her alma mater, where she advised student organizations, coordinated service learning, and operated orientation programs. Traci has been working in the field of higher education for over 13 years, with extensive experience in new student welcome and transition programs.
Brenda works closely with MSU’s student veterans to make sure they receive the GI Bill and other help afforded to veterans. Around 300 or more veterans enroll at MSU each fall. York has also worked with colleges across the state to implement veteran assistance programs, and MSU also helped convince the Montana Board of Regents to allow state campuses to participate in the Yellow Ribbon program connected to the Post-9/11 GI Bill. York also oversees disability services at MSU and is in a unique position to help veterans that may need other assistance outside of their educational benefits.
Coussons-Read is a Professor of Psychology and currently serves as Department Chair at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS). She also holds an appointment as a Professor of Community and Behavioral Health in the Colorado School of Public Health. Among her many accomplishments, she is the founding principal for Strategic Mind, LLC, a consulting firm that provides strategic planning, change management, and leadership development consulting and coaching for both higher education and business organizations. In addition to her academic career, she has extensive experience in higher education leadership and administration. She has served as Department Chair, Associate Dean, and Associate Vice Chancellor for Research at the University of Colorado Denver, and, most recently, she served as the Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at UCCS. She received her PhD in Psychology and Neurobiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed postdoctoral training in Psychiatry and Pediatrics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Lynne works with faculty, librarians, campus IT planners, and academic technology groups around the country to develop strategic programs to support the use of technology in teaching and research initiatives. Lynne and her staff have been key players in the campus-wide Duke Digital initiative, which promotes experimentation with new technologies in education. She recently led the Duke Libraries strategic planning process. Formerly a faculty member at Brown University, Lynne has organized conferences on academic computing, taught courses in educational software design, planned technology-enhanced classrooms, reviewed proposals for the National Institutes of Health, and served on accreditation teams for the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Lynne holds a Ph.D. in education from the University of Delaware.

Marianne previously managed the prospecting effort for Cornell’s $4.75 billion “Cornell Now” campaign and is now a senior internal consultant at Cornell University. She has been in the fundraising field since 1988, when she joined the research team at Harvard’s University Development Office. Marianne has served as a researcher for Harvard, Lesley University, and Carnegie Mellon University, where she directed the research department. She previously served as director of annual giving and development services for Southern New Hampshire University. A board member of the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement, Marianne is also an associate with the Helen Brown Group, where she serves on HBG’s data mining team.
Sherry oversees a number of university-wide surveys, works with academic and student affairs departments to develop assessment projects, and serves on various assessment and data committees. She is past president of the Indiana Association for Institutional Research. Sherry has published articles in the Journal of College Student Development, the NASPA Journal, the Journal of College Student Retention, College Student Journal, and Assessment Update.
