Martha Johnson

Martha is an author, speaker, and consultant with a 35-year career in public and private organizations. She served President Obama as the Administrator of the General Services Administration. She also served eight years with the Clinton Administration. Her business career includes senior positions at Cummins Energy Company, Computer Sciences Corporation, SRA International, and the Boston architecture firm, Ellenzweig. Her published work includes On My Watch: Leadership, Innovation, and Personal Resilience, an Amazon best seller in 2013.

Greg Giesen

Greg Giesen provides both professional development and OD consulting services for faculty and staff. With a Master’s degree in Personnel Services and Counseling from Miami University, Greg brings over twenty-five years of experience in corporate consulting, training, facilitation, and conflict mediation. In addition, Greg is an adjunct graduate professor at DU’s University College, The Center for Professional Development, and Academic Impressions. He is the author of three books on Creating Authenticity, including his latest, Mondays At 3: A Story for Managers Learning to Lead. Greg also speaks around the country on authentic leadership and facilitates his award-winning program, Leading From Within.

Mark Koenig

Mark Koenig is the vice president for technology and chief innovation officer for the OSU Foundation. In this role, he serves as the Foundation’s technology strategist, including oversight of relationship insights, pipeline development, analytics, data and CRM operations, and technology services. Mr. Koenig is the past chair of the Ellucian Advancement Executive Advisory Committee and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District VIII. In 2019, he received the Distinguished Service Award from CASE District VIII recognizing his many years of service to the organization and in 2018, he received the Ellucian ‘EllumiNation’ Community Award recognizing his dedication to infusing innovation throughout the advancement profession. Mr. Koenig earned his bachelor’s in history and economics from the University of Houston and a master’s in adult education and organizational capacity from OSU.

Christine Robinson

Christine Robinson holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, master’s degrees in Psychology and Education, is a certified K-8 educator and is a PhD student in the Department of Educational Leadership, Research and Technology at Western Michigan University. Chris has been in the field of social services and education for 25 years with 12 of those being in higher education. She currently serves as the Assistant Director of Academic Advising at Western Michigan University, where she directs the Phoenix Student Success and Retention Program. As an instructor and program administrator, Chris champions causes of student success, diversity, equity and inclusion in higher education. Through her professional journey she has had experiences in Strategic Program and Policy Development, Project and Program Management, Grant Writing, Assessment, Instructional Design, Curriculum Development and Implementation, Professional Learning Community and Conference Facilitation.

Dr. Mark Parker

Mark Parker is an Associate Professor and the Associate Dean of Continuing Studies in Norwich University’s College of Graduate & Continuing Studies. He has overall responsibility for the College’s six online bachelor’s degree completion programs, two of its thirteen online master’s degree programs, and the online graduate Certificate in Teaching & Learning. He also oversees the College’s Prior Learning and Faculty Training & Development units. Prior to joining Norwich University, he worked at University of Maryland University College where he served in a variety of roles, including Assistant Provost for Academic Affairs, in which he made major contributions to the development and quality of UMUC’s pioneering worldwide online delivery program. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Florida State University and his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Derek Jackson

Derek has more than 26 years of experience primarily in housing and dining services at Kansas State University as well as the University of Georgia. Recently promoted to the Assistant VP for Student Life with responsibility for the Health Center, Counseling Center, Child Care Center and Recreation Center. Has participated in more than $200 Million in new construction and $40 Million in renovations in the past 10 years. Served on the leadership team that lead the university master plan and north corridor university/city master plans. Actively involved in ACUHO-I having taught primarily facilities management topics at the CHO Institute, National Housing Training Institute, South African Housing Training Institute, and recently elected to the ACUHO-I Board as the Facilities and Physical Environment Director.

Chris Connor

With over twenty years of experience in higher education, Chris’s experience includes leadership roles in undergraduate and graduate education both from an institutional and academic unit perspective. He currently serves as the Assistant Dean and Chief Enrollment Officer in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York (SUNY). In his current role, he focuses strategically on all aspects of the graduate student lifecycle including new program development, international and domestic recruitment for both traditional and online programs, enrollment planning, financial aid leveraging, diversity programs, graduate and undergraduate student professional development and alumni engagement. During his tenure, the UB School of Engineering and Applied Sciences graduate enrollment has risen 24% to the highest in school history despite reported U.S. national declines. Erinn Lake

With over 28 years of higher education experience, Erinn’s breadth of expertise includes Graduate School admissions, student satisfaction and service, curriculum, and marketing as well as leadership, strategic planning, and continuous process improvement. Lake earned her D.Ed. in Administration and Leadership Studies from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. She has recently published in the area of doctoral retention at a mid-atlantic comprehensive institution and graduate enrollment management (GEM) models. She has also published on course development cycle time, process improvement teams, and the allocation of resources to non-traditional students in online environments. Lake also serves on the national research committee for NAGAP, the Association for Graduate Enrollment Management.

Dr. Terry McGlasson

Dr. McGlasson’s sixteen years of clinical experience included residential care, family preservation services, addictions counseling, directing two university counseling centers and private practice. He was a Disaster Mental Health Responder for the American Red Cross, deployed to New York in 2012 to assist in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy and he recently returned from Baton Rouge, LA where he assisted those impacted by the historic floods. He teaches, researches and writes on issues such as professional practice, sexual identity, inclusivity/multicultural care and spirituality. A bi-racial man with extensive cross-cultural experience, he has been a civic volunteer/mentor in major urban centers, worked with the Blackfeet Nation in Montana and served abroad as a consultant and humanitarian worker in Brazil, Cuba, India, Mexico, Nicaragua and Peru. Dr. McGlasson frequently presents at regional and national conferences and has spoken to audiences across the country. Dr. McGlasson holds the Ph.D. in Counseling and master’s degrees in both counseling and theology.

Joshua LaFave

Joshua LaFave’s experience over the past 10+ years has included a comprehensive canvas of Graduate Enrollment Management functions. These roles have included enrollment planning, marketing and recruitment, admissions, student services, retention, advising/coaching and career planning. In his current role, Joshua is responsible for all elements of the graduate student lifecycle, as well as the college’s special sessions, early college programs, non-credit offerings, and conferences/special programs. His research on Graduate Enrollment Management includes the adoption of the integrated interdependence model in GEM, working definitions, the four “O’s” of student services, and holistic strategic enrollment management planning. He is also an adjunct instructor in the Organizational Performance and Technology graduate program at his institution. Josh’s research interests include the continued development of Graduate Enrollment Management as it relates to the integration of various functions in GEM, and the synchronization of those areas as it relates to strategy, operational efficiencies, and the differentiated student experience.
